    Oddball Shell Casing

Am wondering what type shell this would be. A primer on one end and and open on the other with some threads, assuming something would screw into it. The body is a nylon composite, any logical thoughts out there. The primer would have been electrically fired.

You may get more of a response if you give some dimensions and end pics.

Sounds about right. Also matches the script on the tube for description.
Here's a link to be able to look and a picture... Pneumatic Mail

    I wonder Why the Primer?
I was guessing along the lines of some type of Leaflet shell........ Air dropped, primer to pop it open ??
    But I don't know.
    It is interesting.

Same here, does not explain the primer on the other end. Very small print on the primer indicates electrically fire. The Vulcan System and the 25 mm cannon atop the Bradly Fighting Vehicle are electrically fired also.

Just throwing this out there as a wild guess but if it is for document transmission which the "confidential" notation would somewhat support an electric primer could destroy the contents if it were about to fall into the wrong hands.
