    Model 1884 Orbea Hermanos 11mm copy of Smith and Wesson No. 3 D.A

    I was reading Anzac15’s thread about the Smith copies and remembered I had this stuck away--

    I picked it up at a gunshow quite awhile ago. It was missing the hammer so I made one and got it working. The gun is pretty rough as you can see--definitely not a shooter it but does function. This model was used for many years by the Spanish Royal Army and Navy so there is possible Spanish America War usage.
    These were approved by the Spanish Army for use but not issued as such. More like an officer could buy one and use it for duty. A much better explanation is described in this PDF link:
