    There's a few young men featured in these films of 1901 who didn't relaise what was coming in 1914.
    Really good quality with unblurred movement capturing the coal miners of the day of all ages!!

    Sad to say, those very same streets would probably have been totslly bare in 1918, with many miners joining the Royal Engineers and the Tunnel Units!
