    Consider ourselves lucky.

I have a friend down in New Zeeland. He emailed me that he has cleaned his two USGI 30 carbines he has had for a very long time for the last time. They are coming to get his carbines next week and he wanted them to be as they should be. He is only a caretaker of these till the police come to pick them up. But he has done a great job of taking care of them as we all are like him in that we take care of our own firearms till we sell them our we pass then down to others. But till then they are ours to take care of. Stocks and magazines too have to go to the crusher too. Nothing can be sold to buyers overseas and must be turned in.

I had told him sometime ago to beware of the ultra liberal/socialist agenda and that it is world wide. He said we don't have to worry about that here. They elected a liberal socialist PM and the next thing was she forced the law through to ban all semi auto rifles as they are all assault rifles. And now he said she is talking about all firearms being banned which is typical of the liberal socialist communist agenda as now showing its ugly face with the ultra liberal socialists who are running for President and members in the US House of Representatives. The likes of Sanders, Warren and Beto the wonder boy are trying to fulfill the Ultra Liberal policies. If one of them should make it then we cannot consider ourselves lucky anymore. And if you don't believe me then you get what you shall deserve. Just ask the wonderful people in New Zeeland if they are getting what they deserve. Sorry for being on my soap box so long.

    Bruce,
As you know we all, on MILSURPS try to avoid the word POLITICS if we can, however,
I wish him all the luck in the world, as we have ALL experienced these knee jerk reactions for the very very few right across the world and the pain they inflict.
'Tonight my men and I have been through hell and back again, but the look on your faces when we let you out of the hall - we'd do it all again tomorrow.' Major Chris Keeble's words to Goose Green villagers on 29th May 1982 - 2 PARA
