Odd A J Parker Bolt like device

Just found a brass handled bolt like device with a blue stell shaft that runs throught the handle area and is about 6 inches long. The bolt handle root has the AJP symbol and made in Englandicon. The "locking" lug will not enter a No 1 or No 4 receiver. Seems way too small to be a cleaning patch or rod guide.

If there is no picture - it doesn't exist.
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

    odd bolt like device

Good thought on the PO14, except it has the rear locking lug like a standard Enfield bolt. Will post it on eBay and see what info that brings in. Thanks for the comment on the P14.

Yet another one of those "I've got something odd - what is it?" queries that assumes we are all using the latest in high-tech crystal balls, thus making photos etc. totally unnecessary

Won't get much else. He's a dealer in gun parts. Had a run in with him before when he was based out of Sacramento California.

Well, at least he didn't get a definitive answer for his trouble. If one puts something like that online and is open minded, you'll get someone almost immediately that will tell you EXACTLY what it is. But pics are the magic...
