Just got a NOS Sten mag gauge from Marstar in Canadaicon. It has the following markings lightly engraved:
GO. GAPS
FOR LIPS OF MAGAZINE
D D (E) 3543/3

<Logo circle> PG LTD

HEIGHT & ANGLE
OF ROUND
230 7° 35'
The "230" may actually be "-230." Have no idea what this represents.

The 7° 35' angle seems awfully precise for equipment manufactured by perhaps dozens of companies around the world!

The cartridge angle is obvious, but can anybody translate the rest, and tell me the manufacture date?

Thanks much.
