    1914 Colt Army 1911 pickup

Picked her up for what I think was a decent price. Not sure if reblued or not, but if so they did a very nice job. Minimal wear on internals

Gave it a CLP bath, don’t mind the residue

Slight Finish wear on lugs, no missing metal

"...if re-blued or not..." If it was, I suspect it wasn't recently due to the holster wear on the slide. Dunno if there were pre-war(well U.S. involvement) 1911's that were blued or not. There doesn't seem to be any of the Ordnance Board inspector's marks either.

I had my 1913 Colt reblued, those inspector marks were the first thing to go as they are very shallow.

Good sign for your gun, not so much for mine. Someone before me used a grinder on the slide (album: 1913 Colt before and after - Album on Imgur). Haven't shot it yet, the firm that did the bluing ran a mag through it as a function check though.

Replaced recoil and firing pin springs and it shoots great! No failures in the 7 mags I ran through it
