HELP: SRS for a 1903 Springfield
Does anyone have access to the SRS? looking for information on a Springfield 1903 3255599.

From the serial number, I would assume the rifle is a Remington M1903A3.... (1943). When the DCM sold the M1903A3s back in the 1960s, they called them "Springfields" too!.

I mis-spoke, I see by the serial number (and photo) it is a Remington M1903. Vi-Shooter's pages show Remington M1903s up thru 3.4 million serial numbers, barrel date around 10-42 (?).

The last Remington M1903 serial was in the 3,380,000 range and just a bare handful of those. I would agree the serial number is ca. October, 1942.

It was just a receiver, bolt, trigger, trigger guard and mag cover. That I was considering buying. But decided I would rather by a Lepould for my M70.
