    Unusual Knife/Blade

I noticed this very wide bladed knife in a display case at the Muckleburgh Military Collection, Weybourne, Norfolk. All that I know about it is what is stated on it's caption. I don't recall seeing a knife quite like it before? Any thoughts, please?
