Correct roll pin (Mil-spec) for the Leatherwood ART II 3x9 scope rear mount base

    Hello,
I have found a Leatherwood ART II 3x9 rifle scope for my Springfield M1Aicon.
However, I ran into a problem:
The little roll pin to secure the rear rail mount base is missing. I have been told it holds the measure 3/32"x9/16".

When I say the rear rail mount base for the rifle scope, it is the part that substitute the clip guide on the M1A

I found the roll pin for the M1A clip guide at Brownells. However it holdes the measure 3/32" x 5/8", and I suspect it is a bit too long.

Can anybody help me with the correct roll pin for the rear rail mount base for the rifle scope?

    Thank you in advance,

    Cordially,
    Anders

According to TM 9-1005-223-34 the NSN for the 3/32 x 9/16 pin you want is 5315-00-051-8636. That is the same as MS16562-120. Manroy Engineering Ltd says their A20504 is equivalent.

A bit too long can be fixed with a file or a fine grinding wheel. The difference is 62.5 thou(as in .0625"). A lot will depend on what tools you own.
Mind you, 3/32" x 9/16" is a 'standard' size for roll pins. There a fastener company near you?
