    Zf39 low turret mount

    Hi all
    I have a “ repro” k98k sniper with a low turret mount.
The scope is angled sligthly down forward.
(Distance from tube to bolt body is about 0,6 mm lower
    In the front end)
First i think it was an issue with my mount
But looking at pictures of real low turret snipers
It seems to be the same.
    Any explanations for this

    Hi Jsne,

Have you tried firing it? Both my turret snipers look like the scope is tilted forward but it’s just an illusion and they are level.

Even my SSR looks lower at the front.

    Hi John
Yes I have fired it many times
    No problem at all.
Shot at 200 m post is in the middel.
    But I wondered why.
It is allmost level but not complete.
    All pictures look the same.

If the post is off by a bit you can slip the range dial to re-zero it.
Loosen the 3 cap screws and rotate the range disc until it lines up to your distance, tighten screws and done!
