    West Australian 2019 Queens Prize

The 2019 West Australianicon Queens Prize was held end Sept. Once again I was confounded by the conditions at the WARA headquarters range, which to be honest is a %$#@ of a range to read conditions on.
    15th in Duke
    9th in Queens
    12th in Grand Ag

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... 15th Placed in the Duke of Edinburgh

    9th Placed in the Queens

12th Placed in the Grand Aggregate over the whole shoot

I have heard the new range is bit of a nightmare judging the wind, a handful our guys from Busselton did pretty good I think Kenny Sue did well but managed to shoot on the wrong target twice in separate shoots a rather soul destroying exercise in the company up there.
I have heard there was a serious lack of wind flags when it first opened hopefully they have remedied that how hot was the concrete mounds or are you under cover, I will get up there one day to shoot.
Well done congrats to you brnom2

Gotta be better than Swanbourne it was a nightmare at times, they used to have a Full Bore range at Mandurah in the 70's where I shot once it was straight into the setting sun and with the targets in the shade it was like a field of grayness.
In that shoot we were at 300 I shot a 35.1 the guy next to me shot a 34.5 I turned to my coach and said wow he shot well a 34.5 Ray Willmot replied to me well a 35.1 will beat a 34.7 all day every day he was right those were the days Omark rifles and ADI ball ammo for 18 cents a pop..........

There's flags enough, but no 2 seem to want to read the same Just have to pick one flag and hope its the right one, whist trying to read mirage thru scope, and second guessing yourself on your sight moves.............Try again next year.
