Was grouse hunting along a rock cliff and I saw him coming then I tucked myself in a notch in the rocks and he walked right by. As he went past I reached out and shot him in the ear with the Commander. He didn`t take another step. He is incredibly blonde. And was just about the best tasting bear I have ever had.

The Taxidermist did a great job. I would recommend Mikes Frontier Taxidermy in Portland OR for any work. I wish I could say it was shot with a 75yr old service pistol but... Still looking for that pistol.
