1891 Argentine Cleaning Rod Question

Hello, its been awhile.
I recently picked up a beautiful cond 1891 Argentine.
All numbers match, everything looks great. I don't plan on
dissembling this rifle, but had a quick question.
How is the cleaning rod retained in the stock, I know it screws into
the stock but just curious is there a retainer nut somewhere near the front pillar?
Once I get some time I'll post some pics of this baby

Another thing I noticed is my barrel has a RB proof marking right above the scrubbed crest receiver ring. Never seen that before. Serial number is P84**

One other question about the extractor. I checked the extractor and
it has good tension. One thing I noticed is that it does have very slight front to back play
in the slot, don't know if that's normal or not. I guess I'll find out when I go to shoot it soon

There is a cleaning rod stud in the stock, very slight play in the extractor is normal.
