I see a complete round at 9 o'clock appears to have a coloured tip could be Trace or A.P due to black and white pic.

I should think it's AP because they issued only AP after a time as it held it's ballistics better at longer ranges. Also better penetration of the so called Chinese armor which turned out to be quilted clothing I think...
