    Bullet-Maker MIA?

Do any Australianicon members know what has happened to "The Bullet Factory", makers of a nice 174gn HP for .303 reloading?

I found their website months ago but it comes up "inactive' these days.

A search throws up a business in India that specializes in Royal Enfield motorcycles.

    Cheers.

    Bruce,

Yes, I've been in contact with Steven in the recent past. Apparently the hobby business of making great bullets was not as attractive as full time, long contract paying work. No jokes intended. Sadly, BF is now all but defunct.

Malcolm Bone's old Taipan brand is back on the marker run by a new, youthful ex Army tradie. The website for JRB Precision is:

    https://jrbprecision.com.au/

I'd be happy to provide my experience with both in a private conversation via PM.

    Cheers.

Brought 100 of his 174/.312's to try I still have a packet of Malcolm Bones original .312's these newies seem to look like BJD's I know when I was using the original 174's from Taipan they worked very well indeed I used them for the longs 4-600M and the 150gn Hornady spire points .312's from 1-300M they flew well too.
But I remember those Taipan's just cleaned'em up with either my MkIII's or my No.4's here is hoping they fly as good already got the load data. Thx 22SqdnRAE

Amazing how fast one gets used to eating regular and living inside.
It seems Steve at .303british.com has stopped too. Still the best .303 Brit site on the net though.
