What are the odds? Parker Hale 5C Sight part needed.

OK, it's a long shot, but I have to ask. I have a very nice PH 5C rifle sight with all the parts in good shape including the longer ejector screw. Here's the kicker. For anyone familiar with these most excellent sights, there is a spring-loaded elevator retention knob that you can back off, depress to disengage the threaded rod controlling elevation, and then dog down again to give the coarse elevation adjustment. To keep the knob from falling off, there is a little screw in the middle that threads into the larger fixed threaded shaft. That little screw is broken off. What are the odds that someone knows of a damaged sight for parts or a source for that little screw? I have a set of micro EZ outs that can probably remove the remnants of the broken screw, and if need be, I can probably find a tiny screw and re thread the hole but I'd like to keep it original. Any help or thoughts would be most appreciated.

My suggestion would be to try via email or phone:

    Norman Clark Gunsmiths Limited
    19 Somers Rd,
    Rugby
    CV22 7DG
    UKicon

    Phone: 0044 1788 579651

    Norman Clark Gunsmiths

Bill Smallwood works there these days part time Tuesdays and I know they keep a lot of the fiddly stuff in as they vought up a lot of spares when PH closed.
Good luck I am sure you'll find one.

    A 2nd vote for Bill.

Over the years he has rebuilt and supplied parts for me for a number of PH sights.

I'm never quite sure if he worked at PH or just acquired all of their parts on closing down and has 'taught himself' - whatever, nothing has yet caught him out.
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

Thank you all! When I get back from hunting, I'll take a few pics of the problem and fire them off to the gentleman.

Thank you for the link. I found this during my searches but the pattern is wrong and the screw I need isn't on this site.
