There are several articles and a YouTube video that say this man is a known scammer and a fraud. Neither his fingerprints nor his DNA matches military records or family DNA. Tom

Anyone who spends a few hours watching the videos on MIAs and the veteran accounts of radio and ground signals, eye witnesses etc. etc. will need to be John McCain not to believe that many MIA's were left behind.

Those inclined to doubt it might ask themselves why "The Hanoi Songbird" as he was known, spent so much of his political career obstructing investigations into the matter.

The same was true in Korea and even WWII. It's been a long time since I read the Gulag Archipelago, but Solzhenitsyn mentions hundreds if not thousands of American PoW's and "missing" men who appeared there after WWII and Korea, and no doubt Vietnam as well; never to be seen again.

If one does the maths and from the appearance of the chap in the article, he may have been born around 8 or 9 months, around about, after the end of WW2. He may, possibly, have a European or North American father and Vietnamese/South East Asian mother but have been born with the appearance of being European or North American as can be the case in some instances. There would have been thousands of European/North American soldiers stationed/passing through his part of the world around the time of the end of WW2. I don't know, in any way, that this is the case in this particular circumstance but I would have thought it a possibility. He didn't ask to be born and he can't help his appearance.

All the married men have been there. The wife telling a third party we don’t need anymore of this that or the other thing.
