    Easterly Lewis Gun book availability

Does anyone know if the book "Belgian Rattlesnake" by Easterly is still available anywhere at something close to the original price? Prices for used copies are well over $300, but there is one site that seems to be an author's page offering it for sale less than $100. The site is unsecured, so not sure if it is legit. Any advice on tracking down a copy at a reasonable price ($100 or less)? Any news on whether it will come back in print? Digital copies for sale?

    Thanks

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Have you contacted Collector Grade Publications for advice?

I don't go to unsecured websites.

Blake Stevens died this year. I do not know if his company, Collector Grade Publishing, is still viable.

Peter L said his wife is selling what’s left but I think he also said they (or someone with the rights) will be doing a ‘The guns of Dagenham’ reprint (https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=69005&p=462131#post462131) There is a ‘Grand old lady of no mans land’ for sale in the UKicon at the moment for an astonishing £500!! They are a better investment than the guns them selves.

Why the Chinese haven’t started printing knockoffs of these books is beyond me.

Or if a new copy is preferred and people may wish to lie down before clicking the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-li...n=new&qid=&sr=

The postage seems very reasonable at £2.80 considering what is being asked for the book.

Check with Blake's widow Susan Fraser at Collector Grade Pubs before you pay an outrageous price via Amazon. She may have some still in stock.

I think that Brit plumber was intending to imply the same as you, Blake's widow, not Peter's wife?
