    WTK: TZ 80 carbine ammo

Thankfully I stocked up on carbine ammo long before I owned any other "assault" weapons, and I just found another 500 rounds of TZ 80 carbine ammo. Think I bought it from Aim, have never shot it.

I know the 7.62X51 TZ 80 ammo is bad news, anybody familiar with this stuff?

I don't know of any bad lots of Israeli "TZ" 30 carbine ammunition. The ones I've had were good as were 9x19 and 45 ACP. I think only certain years or lots of 7.62x51 are bad. They did manage to finally blow up the powder factory by accident. The TZ 30 carbine ammuntion I was only said "TZ 80 and 81 on the boxes. The headstamp on the cases was "30 C 80 (or 81) without a "TZ" on the cases. it should be good stuff or at least not bad. Oh some 9x19 did have hard primers but the 45 ACP was fine.
