    No.4 based baton round gun

Anyone else notice this apparently baton round projector being used in India this week?

Someone else in the background has got an SLR.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. They have been using them since (at least) the '80's when they were using No1 Mk3's.
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

I guess the earlier ones may have been made from locally-produced 2A / 2A1 rifles.

That SLR in the background may also not be a real "SLR", rather by the look of the rear-sight it could be one of the variations of the INSAS (INdian Small Arms System) 5.56 rifle.

    Just my Christmas cracker's worth.

    Season's Greetings to all.

I would like to see the type of baton they are evidently muzzle loading in those .303 conversions.

My brother was involved in the 1960's Hong Kong riots and was issued with a Greener 12? bore for crowd control which fired a small wooden baton.
