How to remove K98 bolt takedown discs?

I have a laminated stock that has been sanded and refinished. I'd like to give it a little TLC and as part of that I would like to remove the bolt takedown discs. What is the procedure to do this? Thanks.

You have to drill out center tube. The make a new tube to replace the damaged one. I use a piece of brake line of same size.
