HT Sniper high mount and 2 scopes...

    Afternoon all,

Long time since I’ve posted I’ve got a HT sniper I’m possibly looking to off load purely because life has decided to go a little sideways.

The rifle is a high mount with 2 scopes ones a freshly rebuilt number the other is still original in what I’d call very good functional shape with the canvas case etc (numbers don’t match the rifle)
The serial of the rifle is listed in Ian Skennertons book and I’ve briefly chatted with him over the phone before I purchased it originally.
She is a shooter I have had the bore cleaned up and she looks in what I’d call very decent condition. (I purchased it thinking she was screwed but it turned out to be just very hard to remove crud)

Basically I’m wondering about how to value/price the rifle for sale ?
I have a figure in mind purely because of the investment in the optics alone and don’t really want to part with the rifle unless it serves a purpose of me moving forward as planned and cover some debt.

I have a fair few pics but I’m unable to upload to the forums as I usually utilize photobucket but it no longer is an option as they are asking for a paid subscription lol

Any other way to up load pics ?

    Kindest regards

    Jared

I don't think someone who purchases a rifle is keen to have a second scope as spare, at least he would not pay the same amount you would get when selling it separately on top of the rifle. Therefore if I was to sell, I would sell the scope on eBay and the rifle with the scope it originally came with.

    Very Valid “PROMO”
My reasoning for having 2 scopes as the rebuilt one was in pretty poor condition
When I got my hands on it so the numbers were taken with corrosion etc this was rebuilt to be a fully usable scope, the original condition scope I got more to go with the rifle to complete it In as original of condition as I can.

Without risk damaging it if you ever wanted to shoot her as the bore on the rifle of in very good condition.

there is pics of the rebuilt scope in my post/thread history

56906 Mate on the original condition scope I’m pretty certain as that’s what’s listed on its case an I’m positive they matched up, I’m away for work currently but can’t check
    Other was never visible

Well, if the scope with serial 56.906 doesn't match the rifle anyway, you would probably get the best money if you sold the rifle with "the other" scope, as well as selling of the scope with its matching numbers scope pouch, so the scope pouch also separately from the rifle.
