1936 Tula Question

I recently picked up a 1936 Tula round receiver 91/30. While researching its history, I saw pictures of several hex reciever 1936 Tulas. I did find one reference that indicated that 1936 was the year that 91/30's switched to round receivers from hex receivers. Can anyone confirm that? Thanks!
