    Furious

Sorry Badger this is a bit political but this a senator (she was a commissioned officer in our ADF) giving a speech in our Parliment on the treatment our veterans are getting.
It is abysmal how they are treating them and allot of them the vets that is are contemplating suicide or have taken their own lives.
I may add it might be the same the world over but in this instance the DVA - Department For Veteran Affairs has threatened a shrink because he told the truth about our vets and their health and state of mind.

I am gutted even as a civie that our govt would turn their backs on these poor souls after they laid it all down for freedom and now when they want help the govt becomes obstuctionistic and un-helpful this is the lowest of lows by this govt sack'em all.

Feel free to move it Badger but it needs a spot where the bulk of forumers go its not a political statement its just what is happening to our poor vets.

If you wish to discuss the politics of firearms ownership or the practices and policies of various governments attempting to control them, then please use the appropriate venue described in the thread titled Where can I discuss politics and gun legislation issues? (click here).

    Regards,
