A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. What is the "web carry bag" that the OP in that thread is looking for? I am not sure whether he means that sling (?) or that plastic box on the left?

    It's the Soft Case B1/1005-99-961-9515

The picture is of MY kit

The only thing I am short of to complete the CES is:
L42A1 Soft Case - Cover, Sniper, B1/1005-99-961-9515, L42A1 - the one in the middle pictured below

Was the case designed to carry the rifle with scope installed?
    Thank you,
    Mike
