    1918 13.2mm TUF Cartridge

    Attention Cartridge Collectors

Can any of you cartridge collectors give me an idea of the value of a Germanicon 1st World War 13.2 MM TUF cartridge. I bought a gallon pail full of old cartridges some full some empty, a lot of big Britishicon Express cartridges but among them were both a Boys Anti tank and 13.2 TUF cartridge. The nice thing about the big 1918 T Gewehr cartridge and Boys cartridge is that neither have had the bullets pulled and both are still live. From what I can gather on the 13.2m TUF cartridge they are very rare to find with powder, primer and bullet intact as the majority in German stores were destroyed at the end of the war and if intact they were probably battlefield pickups. The cartridge I found in the pail bears a manufacturing date of the 11th month of 1918 with the "P" and TUF base stampings.

Boys usually go for around $80 AUD for a live then again its on the day, my express rounds have not had an addition for some years sadly been looking for a Kynoch packet of 5 - 375 Flanged for ages but my location negates allot of being able to get additions.

Cannot say the TUF rounds price would lean towards maybe $150 - $190+AUD hopefully they are in good nik.

One of 'em sold on iCollector, last May, for $170.00Cdn. It'll matter if the thing is loaded or not too. Still a pretty good find in a bucket of brass.
    1 RND ANTI TANK AMMO

Rock Island Auctions sold the Mauser rifle it shoots in 2013 for $11,500US.
Oh and "big Britishicon Express cartridges" tend to be pricey things too.
    Spelling and Grammar count!

    cartridge values

I read on another forum that some owners of complete Mauser WW1 anti tank rifles still shoot them, they make the cartridges from solid stock or else modify a cartridge. Also found out there was a shorter barreled Mauser anti tank rifle too. I made a 7,92x94mm WW2 anti tank cartridge dummy on my Southbend lathe just to have an example, this was a necked down 13.2 TUF cartridge without the rim. Value of an original 7,92x94mm is around $200 US plus and there still might be tear gas in the bullet ! Your 13.2 should be in the same price range.

Also have a small collection of Britishicon express cartridges, my photo shows a 303 on the left.
Some of range in price for a single example from $40 to $60 each - use an auction for best resultsAttachment 105750Attachment 105749

    T18 13MM AMMO

Might you still have some of the 13MM T18 Ammo available? and if so what would you like to get per round? We just had an Auction last November that I missed and 4 rounds sold for about $293.75 US with fees but not shipping. They were decent looking but not great.

I had the rifle and I think I still have one of the rounds. Unfortunately I never had any spares to fire. Very interesting Post Office visit the day I shipped that out!
