    Appropriateness Question

Would it be appropriate to discuss the Sig M17 Commemorative as a collector investment on Milsurps.com? If so, where? Thanks!

As long as your thread complies with the forum rules there shouldn't be a problem.

Commemoratives, from any company, have proven to be a horrible investment. Primarily because there's nothing special about 'em. The Sig M17 is just a beige P320. However, it'd also take a very long time for one of 'em to increase in value. And you'd have to leave the thing in its original box without ever shooting it or even playing with it.
And, 20 years or more from now, you'd have to find somebody who wants it.
    Spelling and Grammar count!

I could not agree more. Like all the legion commemorative Winchester 94s. I call it “fake rarity.”
