    Geeram,
This is full of common sense mate from someone who was there, have a read it could help and the best of luck in the absence of any other advice whilst you self isolate, follow as much as you can from those experienced in what they do:

From a young researcher who had been transferred from Shenzhen to Wuhan tocollaborate with the task force that is fighting the coronavirus epidemic, wereceive and willingly transmit to all of thisclear, simple and accessible information, which describe exactly what it is.the virus, how it transfers from one person to another and how it can beneutralized in everyday life.
Coronavirus infection does not cause a cold with a dripping nose or catarrhal cough, but a dry and dry cough: this is the easiest thing to know.
Thevirus does not resist heat and dies if exposed to temperatures of 26-27degrees: therefore often consume hot drinks such as tea, herbal tea and brothduring the day, or simply hot water: hot liquids neutralize the virus and it isnot difficult to drink them. Avoid drinking ice water or eating ice cubes orsnow for those in the mountains (children)!
Forthose who can do it, expose yourself to the sun!
1.The virus crown is quite large (diameter about 400-500 nanometers), thereforeany type of mask can stop it: in normal life, special masks are not needed.
Onthe other hand, the situation is different for doctors and health professionalswho are exposed to heavy virus loads and have to use special equipment.
Ifan infected person sneezes in front of you, three meters away they will dropthe virus on the ground and prevent it from landing on you.
2.When the virus is found on metal surfaces, it survives for about 12 hours. Sowhen you touch metal surfaces such as handles, doors, appliances, supports ontrams, etc., wash your hands well and disinfect them carefully.
3.The virus can live nested in clothes and fabrics for about 6/12 hours: normaldetergents can kill it. For clothes that cannot be washed every day, if you canexpose them to the sun and the virus will die.
    Howit manifests itself:
1.The virus first installs itself in the throat, causing inflammation and a drythroat sensation: this symptom can last for 3/4 days.
2.the virus travels through the humidity present in the airways, descends intothe trachea and installs in the lung, causing pneumonia. This step takes about5/6 days.
3.Pneumonia occurs with high fever and difficulty breathing, it is notaccompanied by the classic cold. But you may have the feeling of drowning. Inthis case, contact your doctor immediately.
    Howcan you avoid it:
1.Virus transmission occurs mostly by direct contact, touching tissues ormaterials on which the virus is present: washing hands frequently is essential.
Thevirus only survives on your hands for about ten minutes, but in ten minutesmany things can happen: rub your eyes or scratch your nose for example, andallow the virus to enter your throat ...
So,for your own good and for the good of others, wash your hands very often anddisinfect them!
2.You can gargle with a disinfectant solution that eliminates or minimizes theamount of virus that could enter your throat: in doing so, you eliminate itbefore it goes down into the trachea and then into the lungs.
3.disinfect the PC keyboard and mobile phones
Thenew coronavirus NCP * may not show signs of infection for many days, * beforewhich it cannot be known if a person is infected. But by the time you have afever and / or cough and go to the hospital, your lungs are usually already in50% fibrosis and it's too late!
Taiwaneseexperts suggest doing a simple check that we can do on our own every morning:
Takea deep breath and hold your breath for more than 10 seconds. If yousuccessfully complete it without coughing, without discomfort, a sense ofoppression, etc., this shows that there is no fibrosis in the lungs, indicatingessentially no infection.
Insuch critical times, do this check every morning in a clean air environment!
Theseare serious and excellent advice from Japaneseicon doctors who treat COVID-19cases. Everyone should make sure that their mouth and throat are moist, neverDRY. Drink a few sips of water at least every 15 minutes. WHY? Even if the virusgets into your mouth ... water or other liquids will sweep it away through the oesophagusand into the stomach. Once in the belly ... Gastric acid in the stomach willkill all the virus. If you don't drink enough water more regularly ... thevirus can get into your trumpets and lungs. It is very dangerous.

My wife and I have been sick off and on for two weeks. Doubt it's Covid. Most likely alergies and mild flu.

Pennsylvania still seeing increasing numbers. Jumped over 600 since yesterday where the last two days had stayed in the low 500's. New York still increasing in large numbers, over 10,000 in one day, most of these from NYC as are most of the deaths. New York state is accountable for almost 1/3 of all deaths and is nearly half of all cases and at the rate they are increasing there may soon be accountable for over half of each.

President Trump has extended his initial 15 day social distancing program for an additional 30 days to the end of April.

He said he’ll be making an announcement on Tuesday. It would be surprising but not *shocking* if that was a national “stay at home” order. Just my gut feeling.

The UK has further ramped up preparations today, with the country going into full emergency mode, being split into districts, each with a joint HQ, coordinating, security, health and supply, with attached military units.

Three 4,000 bed hospitals are planned (or are already being created) in exhibition centers too.

Some 20,000 retired medical professionals have returned to the NHS, along with the deployment of many mentored final year medical students.
They may prove critical in keeping things going, when you consider the 24 hour, three shift nature of this and allowing perhaps 30-40% of staff to get infected and be dropping out for 14 days isolation at any one time.

It will be a close run thing, if it gets as bad as expected, but the efforts being made are impressive and make you proud to be Britishicon . . A new Battle of Britain is about to rage.

The public is being prepared for this lockdown to last 3 to 6 months, depending how successful it is in slowing the rate of infection to a controllable rate.

Other European countries, like Swedenicon are apparently doing absolutely nothing!

Perhaps they think a small population, spread out, will help control the infection rates....

A risky strategy if you ask me!

Any country that doesn't make maximum effort to control the rate of infection until it eventually burns out through lack of new hosts , will pay a very high price in mortality....

That should prove interesting. Pretty much take some sort of declaration of martial law to enforce it. Many states with low rates will resist it. Even Cuomo will likely resist it as he's stated he would. He's mismanaging his state in the process and now threatening other states that are restricting New Yorkers who are fleeing NY and going to these other states. Restricting them is common sense. They are coming from the most infected area in the country. Surrounding states are gradually getting the bus companies shut down. There are even some demands to shut down the borders with NY to slow the spread.

Kind of turning into a Stephen King novel.

Stephen King novel, yep, that's about right....

The UKicon has always tried to control by consent, it's a system that to be quite honest, doesn't really work anymore.

We have rocketing levels of knife crime with our youngsters ( knife murders increase constantly) and 'zero' respect for the police or authority, with weak sentencing etc ...

The issue being that the bulk of the population will (and are) do as asked, the rest simply won't (as was witnessed by the disgraceful scene of people selfishly piling carts high in the supermarkets).

Consent doesn't work for people who simply aren't consenting, it might take a heavy handed approach do the job in the coming weeks, it will come as quite a shock to the criminally minded too!
