I’m refraining and have not bought a nail since “house arrest” started.
But I’ve kept looking for...wet dreams.

And, last but not least, a VB Practical Elite. The Cadillac of Bernardelli’s competition pistols of the mid-nineties. When I worked there, 96-97, I sold those for 4.5 million Lire (approx 2.500 €, without calculating the 23 years passed...). A pistol completely built of forged steel (like my P-One, a real jewel), hand fitted by long lost artisans I knew very well. This one is out for 680€. I bet there are not 1000 worldwide...

I want to start this off by saying I'm a Christian and a pretty conservative and faithful one. Just wanted to put that out there because of a minister in Florida was arrested for holding church services despite an order by the governor of the state prohibiting large gatherings of people. The story goes:

"On Sunday, Howard-Browne defended his decision to keep the church open in a video posted to his YouTube channel, claiming the building had the technology to eradicate any virus.

"We brought in 13 machines that basically kill every virus in the place," Howard-Browne said. "If they sneeze it shoots it down like at 100 miles per hour and it will neutralize it in a split second."

In addition to being a Christian, I'm a Constitutionalist and a scientist. Claims of 1st Amendment protections are invalid here because it does not stop they from holding services, they are fully set up to live stream the services and in addition to that, short term emergency orders which limit other rights are Constitutional. As a scientist, I'm wondering who is making these devices and why we all don't have them because it would seem it would end this crisis very fast.

Yes there are issues here. Religious freedom is the very first right protected in the Constitution. Some faithful believe that God will protect them while in church, and yes there are many that follow the motto "if God wills it, so be it" Not trying to get into any religious debate here but this is something I can see happening only in America. This obviously isn't the only church. There are synagoues in NYC that are ignoring the orders, many smaller churches nationwide. These actions most certainly do not endear them to non-believers nor the majority of the practicing religious.

I’m religious too, Steve, but there is a clear border between that and being an extremist. Normal people understand it without need for explanation.
Extremists are dangerous. To themselves and to others.
And they are not above the law. So, if there is a time-limited compression of certain liberties (not rights), they have to comply as well.
But again, here we step over a thin line where it is difficult to separate faith and fanatism. And fanatics, in my book, are side-by side with lunatics, stupids and other weird people. And there is nothing that can fix those “problems”.
With all due respect and from someone who really likes to go to church on Sundays.
And it does not happen only in America, don’t worry. Maybe you are a bit more vocal, but it happens also elsewhere.

Well, I had one in .40 cal to match the pistol. Nice to have a set of mags that interchange, not just the cartridge. I had no problems with mine whatsoever and I sure wrung it out enough. I highly recommend one. Put a decent red dot optic on it though, I found the sighs so low I couldn't get past my cheeckbone to aim. I used a simple bushnell red dot... repeatable accuracy for combat type shooting...

Today was the first time that I ventured into my local supermarket wearing a full respirator, fitted with both charcoal and P3 dust type filters, and, as previously mentioned, is the sort of respirator that one may use to spray certain types of paint. Last week I had taken the precaution of checking with customer services who, in turn, checked with the manager, that it was acceptable to wear this type of mask in-store.

I wanted to give the appearance of complete normality, nothing unusual, just doing my shopping, apart from wearing a full blown respirator. To this end I was completely relaxed and just did my shopping as per normal, while wearing a full respirator, and I observed other people's reactions. I did detect a few slight smiles from a few of the younger females in-store, but no great reaction and several others were wearing thin dust masks.

We have been told to try and limit our visits to the supermarkets and so I thought that I had better get the maximum amount that I could into my basket but I couldn't get too much as I was only visiting the shop on foot.

With the basket full I decided on the "EXPRESS CHECKOUT" and being carful to thread on the correct piece of floor, in accordance with the shop's social distancing rules, placed my basket on the counter. Here's where my problems began, I was wrestling with an umbrella which kept trying to open, while I was trying to remove my backpack in order to access my reusable plastic shopping bags. The straps for my backpack were entangled with the strap of my respirator bag which was round my neck and I was also trying to hold onto my lunch bag all at the same time. I didn't want to put anything down in case it got "contaminated".

With my 2 plastic bags now available and my backpack and respirator bag back on again, I started the job of packing my shopping. Unfortunately, it soon dawned on me that I had a problem, I was struggling to get all of my shopping into the 2 bags that I had allotted. I could have taken my backpack off again but I didn't feel that I could face another wrestling match with my umbrella, the straps of my bags etc and besides I only have 2 hands to carry all of my bags.

While still halfway through my "packing" a slightly snooty female said over my shoulder "Do you mind doing your packing at the other end of the counter.". In reply I said, through my respirator, "Are you going to pay for my shopping?" The lady replied "I can't hear a word you are saying.". The assistant said "He hasn't paid for his shopping yet." The lady left the queue, presumably for a Non-Express checkout and in the hope for a more speedy checkout.

Buying sprees. I was pretty conservative and limited myself to 1 spam can of 7.62x39 ammo, 900 rounds of 5.56 NATO ammo, 10 garand clips, 2 SKS 30 round detachable magazines, 2 PPS-43 35 round magazines, 2 AK-47 30 round magazines 2 AR-15 30 round magazines and to round it all out an 8 round luger magazine. The Luger magazine was something I've been watching for for a couple of months and finally found one for around $25 which I didn't think I'd beat. Looks to be an original housing with newer production innards. It works, that's all I wanted.

But good for you protecting yourself you really cannot take any chances supermarkets here they are saying you touch it you buy it also no buy backs once this is all over you squirelled it well now you don't need to bring it back to us we wont take it......be allot of food donations after this hopefully for the not so fortunates so a good from a bad.

Really 5 minutes later I am still laughing at F-10 whislt trying to type, I need to go and ride my m/cycle somewhere this is too much sorry F-10 but your it in todays funny section tears are in my eyes now outstanding job sir....!
