We have the same Aardvarks here on the news last night it shows persons doing chin ups on bars that had big yellow signs on them "Do Not Use Because Of COVID-19" this is the issue people are living in a fantasy world of it won't get me, well listen up MTHRFKRS it's coming and its gunna get worse once it hits a million people infected and doubling every 4 days it will expdentially explode.
Our premier has basically told anyone from over east or the territories to stay away from Western Australiaicon and emphasised your not welcome and west aussies to get home before 23:59:59 on the 31/03/2020 otherwise your straight into 14 days lockdown, had a few FK-tards flout the law with non-compliance of being in isolation have been fined 0000"s $ but thats not the issue if they are infected then its to late when they are about in public, sorry but you deserve a harsher punishment people wanton endangerment of innocents.
Then in other news footage you see scads of people running around next to each other through other groups of people just flocking like seagulls at a fish and chip rally seriously it just stupifies me that Aussies are not realising the gravity of this situation that is confronting the planet.

The govt has introduced more stringent requirements we now have no more than 2 people in a outside group, all play equipment in public is out of bounds not to be used along with execise equipment in public as well.
Also heard on the grapevine that China is on a buying binge in the stock market and land grab do not know how true this is but I for one would as a Govt here would have stopped any land sales to foreign investors if only to protect our farmers, industries and home owners

Good article Gil all should read it, GeeRam keep a cool head bloke keep hygiene up and monitor symptoms contact the health proffesionals if you need to allot of people only really develop mild flu symtoms I'm north of 60 myself and am soon to go to work on a site with 500+ people on a drive in drive out daily so this is going to be interesting just how long the site will keep going 1 case and I'd say she'll be shut down.

Ovidio "Happy Birthday" to your daughter I hope it was a nice day for her and your family, the meal you set up looked scrummy I certainly would enjoyed chomping on some of those steaks that along with a couple of glasses of red vino with you all. Keep well bloke in fact to all of us here in the place where there is no hype on this thing but frank conversation on whats going on.

From a young researcher who had been transferred from Shenzhen to Wuhan to collaborate with the task force that is fighting the corona virus epidemic, we receive and willingly transmit to all of this clear, simple and accessible information, which describe exactly what it is.the virus, how it transfers from one person to another and how it can be neutralized in everyday life.

Coronavirus infection does not cause a cold with a dripping nose or catarrhal cough, but a dry and dry cough: this is the easiest thing to know.
The virus does not resist heat and dies if exposed to temperatures of 26-27degrees: therefore often consume hot drinks such as tea, herbal tea and broth during the day, or simply hot water: hot liquids neutralize the virus and it is not difficult to drink them. Avoid drinking ice water or eating ice cubes or snow for those in the mountains (children)!

For those who can do it, expose yourself to the sun!
1.The virus crown is quite large (diameter about 400-500 nanometers), therefore any type of mask can stop it: in normal life, special masks are not needed.
On the other hand, the situation is different for doctors and health professionals who are exposed to heavy virus loads and have to use special equipment.
If an infected person sneezes in front of you, three meters away they will drop the virus on the ground and prevent it from landing on you.
2.When the virus is found on metal surfaces, it survives for about 12 hours. So when you touch metal surfaces such as handles, doors, appliances, supports on trams, etc., wash your hands well and disinfect them carefully.
3.The virus can live nested in clothes and fabrics for about 6/12 hours: normal detergents can kill it. For clothes that cannot be washed every day, if you can expose them to the sun and the virus will die.

    How it manifests itself:
1.The virus first installs itself in the throat, causing inflammation and a dry throat sensation: this symptom can last for 3/4 days.
2.the virus travels through the humidity present in the airways, descends into the trachea and installs in the lung, causing pneumonia. This step takes about5/6 days.
3.Pneumonia occurs with high fever and difficulty breathing, it is not accompanied by the classic cold. But you may have the feeling of drowning. In this case, contact your doctor immediately.

    How can you avoid it:
1.Virus transmission occurs mostly by direct contact, touching tissues or materials on which the virus is present: washing hands frequently is essential.
The virus only survives on your hands for about ten minutes, but in ten minutes many things can happen: rub your eyes or scratch your nose for example, and allow the virus to enter your throat ...
So,for your own good and for the good of others, wash your hands very often and disinfect them!
2.You can gargle with a disinfectant solution that eliminates or minimizes the amount of virus that could enter your throat: in doing so, you eliminate it before it goes down into the trachea and then into the lungs.
3.disinfect the PC keyboard and mobile phones.

The new corona virus NCP * may not show signs of infection for many days, * before which it cannot be known if a person is infected. But by the time you have a fever and / or cough and go to the hospital, your lungs are usually already in 50% fibrosis and it's too late!
Taiwanese experts suggest doing a simple check that we can do on our own every morning:
Take a deep breath and hold your breath for more than 10 seconds. If you successfully complete it without coughing, without discomfort, a sense of oppression, etc., this shows that there is no fibrosis in the lungs, indicating essentially no infection.
In such critical times, do this check every morning in a clean air environment!
These are serious and excellent advice from Japaneseicon doctors who treat COVID-19cases. Everyone should make sure that their mouth and throat are moist, never Dry. Drink a few sips of water at least every 15 minutes. WHY? Even if the virus gets into your mouth ... water or other liquids will sweep it away through the oesophagus and into the stomach. Once in the belly ... Gastric acid in the stomach will kill all the virus. If you don't drink enough water more regularly ... the virus can get into your trumpets and lungs. It is very dangerous.
Share this information with your family, friends and acquaintances, for * solidarity and civic sense *

Very hot baths, saunas etc. which raise body temperature create a kind of artificial fever and should therefore be beneficial.

TB patients used to be helped to sit and lie on angles that raised their midsections and lowered the upper body so that gravity would help their lungs to drain. Getting on hands and knees in the manner of moslem prayer can be useful if something "goes down the wrong way", and might be useful with this sort of drainage too.

Sipping liquids is no doubt good, but not the same thing as being well-hydrated in a bodily sense. The mucous and lymph cannot be fluid and flow well in people who are chronically dehydrated - and most of us are it is said. "Your Body's Man Cries For Water" as per previous link.

    David Christopher has written:
“The first line of defense for your immune system is the thin layer of mucus that covers and protects all tissues that line the entrance orifices of your body. Macrophages and other white blood cells can enter this thin layer of mucus and devour invading viruses and present the invader’s genetic code to T-helper cells that activate T-Killer cells. This signalling is accomplished through the chemical messenger Interleukin-1. This immune activating signal also elevates the body temperature set-point, triggering a fever. This life-saving mechanism amplifies the immune response and impairs the invading viruses….As the immune system kicks into high gear the mucus thickens with the debris of destroyed viruses and damaged white blood cells. At this point, we encourage expectoration. We boil a pan of water, remove it from the heat, spray into the boiled water certain essential oils, which are contained in Dr. Christopher’s M.P.R formula and inhale the steam and MPR deep into our sinuses and lungs, which stimulates coughing and blowing the waste out of our bodies.”

James Duke, PhD. in his book Green Pharmacy said:
“ Antibiotics are generally useless against viruses; ...several herbs used in traditional herbal medicine have scientifically documented antiviral effects. They are what I use when I have colds, flu, and other viral infections.”

Echinacea- “Echinacea fights viruses in two ways. It contains three compounds with specific antiviral activity- caffeic acid, chicoric acid and echinancin. Root extracts of echinacea have also been shown to act like interferon, the body’s own antiviral compound. In addition, echinacea is an immune stimulant that helps the body defend itself against viral infection more effectively.”

Astragalus- “In one small Chinese study, ten people whose heart muscles were infected by Coxsackie B virus, which causes the heart inflammation known as myocarditis, received injections of astragalus extract for three to four months. The activity of their natural killer cells, a component of the immune system, rose 11 to 45 percent. They also showed increased levels of alpha and gamma interferon, the body’s own antiviral compounds.”
Garlic- “Several of the sulfur compounds in garlic are active against the flu virus”, according to Heinrich Koch, PhD., professor of pharmaceutical chemistry and bio-pharmaceutics and Larry Lawson, Ph.D., a research scientist. Jane Guiltinan, N.D., suggests up to 12 fresh cloves a day.

Second on the TB sleep set up. Number of people in my family had TB. We got a foam triangles and they would sleep with their lower torso elevated. Amazon sell them as the "bed wedge" or marketed as acid re-flux pillows, same concept just applied to another part of the body.

    It's interesting Ron,

My father is 87 and when he was a lad TB, scarlet fever etc still stalked the country.

Many people simply don't realise that infant mortality was still approaching 50% in our cities in the mid 19th century..

Fast forward to today, we have couples refusing to have their children immunised because of the non existent chance of autism, based on flawed and discredited research, spread by that great scourge of common sense and lemming mentally, Facebook and rammed home to the easily led by some god forsaken thing called 'Mom's Net'.

This had lead to a massive rise in Germanicon measles and Mumps cases, almost completely eliminated in the UKicon prior to this.

If anything good can possibly come from this global event going on, is it will hit the re-set button and the jolting shock of this will see an outbreak of common sense and community spirit sweep the world.

And I would hope, we will see the Chinese close their wet markets!

I remember wondering through one in a village outside Nanning, South West China years ago, with cooked dog hindquarters and every form of unidentifiable cooked and raw meat you can imagine....

Got to bloody stop, can I send the bill for the damage to my business to the Chinese embassy?

I know its only history, and its not meant as a conspiracy theory, but isn't it ironic 100 years ago Chinese workers in their 1000,s were brought over to Franceicon to bury the dead from WW1 and it lasted from January 1918 to December 1920, why are the Chinese always involved??
It killed 500 million people world wide.

The Spanish flu was the first of two pandemics caused by the H1N1 influenza virus; the second was the swine flu in 2009.

Thanks Ron, she still had a great day. Missed her friends and larger family though...

Concerning No Vax, I don't think that stupid can be fixed, that's why I wrote last week, maybe even before, that after the storm is over, I'd love to wait for the couple families of No Vax I know here to show up for a vaccine.
I'd just look at them...well, look down at them.
I stopped arguing with them after the very first time. Militant ideologism has no cure (although I remember reading about a cure the South Koreans developed in Vietnam, if I'm not mistaken...).

What I start noticing on Italianicon media is a sort of restlessness. Not due to the fact that we are all under "house arrest" actually, but to the fact that no-one even tries to give some sort of lookout about the developments.
This state of uncertainty is, IMHO, the real problem. That is what is already starting to cause unrest in Sicily (together with ultra-left scum***bags, "social centres hooligans" etc.) and could spread all over. Not a single entity, not a single authority, not a single person seems to have the competence to say something credible. I do not doubt that these people exist and that they are absolutely capable of giving a guideline, but there is so much "background noise" that you can't receive their "waves"...
And here we come back, again, to the critical aspect of communication and, looking at it from another angle, the absolute freedom of speech.
In this kind of situation, communication is of utmost importance, but in the whole world it seems no-one is doing a good job about it, with the exception of the biggest tyranny on earth...China.
We want and must keep our difference toward such a criminal state system, but we need to reduce the background noise. At least at the level of officials, who need to communicate with a single voice.
They can stab themselves, club each other with steel bats, shoot each other, as long as it happens in a closed room, then, when they are finished with that, one has to come out and say what has been decided. They can not talk and be contradicted five minutes later by another official, politician, doctor etc.
That uncertainty is slowly building up and will be the source of trouble.
I am ready to bet on it.
For the rest, here in the North-East all quiet. We have the lowest rate of people being fined for breaking the restrictions in the whole country.
    Stores full of everything.
Not too many people infected yet, and if we keep the self-quarantine up and as good as we are doing, we might be on a good path.

Well my wife and I have been in lockdown since the 19th when I picked her up from the Ruby Princess.
Her and the daughter and her partner and myself went into isolation, both girls were tested , daughter was okay, wife had the dogs disease, so that ended it for me. (Wife and Daughter shared a cabin...go figure)

Had a couple of young Constables around this morning checking we were self isolating, played 20 questions with them for a bit.

Hope to hear from the Health Dept. next week, getting bloody bored though have a lot to do, just no inclination.

    Keep safe and well.

Sorry to hear that. There doesn't seem to be any straight way this disease operates. Like here, it hits the Prime Minister and the Chief Medical Officer, but misses the Deputy Chief Medical Officer who is now doing the briefings and they were all huddled around a table for over three weeks!!!
Commonsense tells me , she has probably had it already and didn't realise, like many!!

Interestingly, one of the cast iron symptoms seems to be a total loss of smell and taste (in the latter stages), this appears to be the same with the vast bulk of cases, where as not everyone gets a high temperature of the cough...

I have always been one, if there is a cause you can normally identify what caused it and cure it.......works in every form of life, including rifle building, putting it into simplistic terminology.

Noone seems to be able to want to identify what caused all this after hundreds if not thousands of years of eating, Bats/Pangalins etc if that was the cause.

If it isn't/wasn't, whats to stop it repeating again in another 10 years? thats my point.
Anybody see something that answers my question?
