Well, yesterday it was back to work at the gunshop in NJ. After being closed for over a week, by our Governor, Dictator, Tryant Murphy the First, who out of the kindness of his heart, NOT, permitted the opening of gunshops on a limited basis, hours and by appointment only after having his arm twisted by the federal government that gun shops were essential to the protection of all Americans. Most of the today appointment were for individuals who had purchased firearms but were left without due to the overload of the background checks. I and my colleagues were all "bunny uped" in our gloves, face masked and eye protection as each customer came in to pick up their firearm and ammunition. Lots of tire kickers (not buying anything just like to finger *uck the guns) came to the door without an appointment who were supposed to be sheltered in place which we turned away. Lots of telephone calls from folks trying to buy firearms who had no license (have little chance of getting the license as most of the PD are closed to walk in customers for administrative items) or were out of state who could not take possession of a firearm over the counter. I did have one "idiot" who showed up with his 2 year old son strapped to his chest without any protection at all. When we pointed this out to him, he stated, "if i get the virus or if he gets the virus we both will have it anyway." What a piece of *hit!! The main roads have been rather empty. It sort of reminds me of an old (End of the World) movie with Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner and Fred Astair, called "On the Beach" which was filmed in Australiaicon. I will have to see if it is on You Tube and watch it tonight. Well folks be safe, secure and vigilant.

Here in Edmonton, Alberta gas is 54.9 a litre grocery stores are well stocked. Big shout out to the truck drivers, some go days without a shower or a decent meal since most places are shut down.
Big thank you to the doctors and nurses. Corporations are donating to the food banks since many can't work so they have no paycheck.

Is that about an American submarine which is out at sea when WWIII breaks out? And go to land after hearing a morse-code message coming from Australia. When they get there, they find out that... Won't spoil, but if we're talking about the same film, you will certainly remember.

Pennsylvania had a big jump from yesterday, almost 1000 new cases, now up to 5805 with 74 deaths. Dwarfed by New York with 83712 cases and 1941 deaths. New York has more deaths than Philadelphia has cases with 1468 so this isn't really a big city problem, it's a New York problem. In my morning drive today there were a lot of people moving around in cars. Much more than the past few days. Walmart's parking lot was also fuller. To my knowledge, nothing changed since yesterday. No new restrictions, no word anything might happen. The weather was nice, maybe that's it. We haven't seen the sun for more than a few minutes since about the middle of last week. It was very sunny this morning. Maybe it was the slow increase of the previous two days giving a false sense of security. I did hear today and this is to keep things in perspective. The infection rates and the death rates despite the high numbers are comparatively low when you factor in the population Per capita rates are low compared to most of Europe. I unfortunately don't have those numbers as they were talking about them on the radio.

I heard that Spain is currently no. 1 in percentage, with one infected each 530 or so persons, followed by Switzerlandicon and Italyicon. Switzerland is very close to Spain, we are at 1/590. Then there is a jump up to 1/900 approx. I guess UKicon. Can’t remember.
Right now the problem here seems to have become elder people, who just keep going out every day: bread, newspaper, bottle of wine, eggs... And so on. Out every few hours. Some just don’t want to understand.
In the south the situation is apparently quiet, but police and secret service keep warning against mafia and leftist/anarchic maneuvers to start riots.
North east is, as its custom, quiet, disciplined and...cursing between clenched teeth.
AAAAAAAARGGHHHHHHHH, I dream of a “jailbreak”...
    LET ME OUT!!!!!!!
Ok, I’m back. All quiet, all under control...

    This is my current read.
I have been postponing it for a couple years at least, but now I’m into it.
Very interesting feat of arms indeed.

What I'm hearing is that Russiaicon and Saudi Arabia are pumping at maximum production in an attempt to put the US oil industry out of business, not sure if they are trying to put each other out of business also. If the price goes too low, it becomes too costly to drill here. Oil could go as low as $15 a barrel. Some are saying the market could even go negative with them paying you to take their oil but I don't see that as possible. It's rather insane. In any case Trump wants to fill up the Oil Reserves which Obama ignored and the Democrats are saying no because it's beneficial to "Big Oil". Who cares that it's benificial to the US as we are paying less to fill up the reserves. They don't make much sense.
