    Human Magnetism Syndrome

I am sure that I am not the only person to notice a strange new human phenomenon in which humans appear to have developed powerful magnetic fields, of either North or South polarity, radiating about 5m around one's self. This serious new condition would appear to present it's self in such a way that when an afflicted person walks along the pavement (sidewalk), if another with the same condition, human magnetism syndrome, is walking in the opposite direction, and if both are of the same magnetic polarity, once the two magnetic fields meet it causes one or both of the unfortunate sufferers to deviate, at a tangent, from their original intended, direction of travel.

In industry there are such things as demagnetisers, intended to demagnetise steel parts/objects. Unfortunately, I have not seen and am unaware of a demagnetiser capable of demagnetising a human-being.

Qld are locking their border, Artania is still refusing to leave Fremantle port unti April 14th until the ship can be disinfected also they have Cov-19 infected crew members from Indonesia they want off boarded and flown home the State/Federal Govt is in discusion with officials from those countries our states premier Mark Magowan does not want them to set foot on dry land but they set a precedent by busing the Germanicon tourists to Perth Airport this is a humanitarian issue so to me its a no brainer we have to assist with the right precautions in place to get them home.
The Govt is choppering Dr's out to the cruise ships off the eastern coast to test passengers for Cov-19 and so the virus rolls on.

Aragorns figures from the U.S.iconA paint a very bleak picture other countries need to look at and heed whats happening there and brace, Twiggy Forest a mining magnate put up $106 million of his money to secure 90 tonnes from China of all places masks, ventilators, gloves for our nursing staff the Govt will pay him back but its a good thing as here in West Au where I am the nursing staff were having to make their own surgical masks at home as supplies have run out.

    Bit of a read this is our premier Mark Magowans burst on what Western Australia is doing for once our isolation may in this case be a blessing in disguise seeing as we have always been the butt of jokes from those living in the eastern states;

The number of new cases in Western Australia continues to be very encouraging, and shows that the measures we have taken so far are starting to have a positive impact.
But we cannot afford to take our foot off the pedal.
The health pandemic is here in Western Australia, and unfortunately it won’t be leaving any time soon.
But if we follow the advice, abide by the new rules and practice good social distancing, we can take a different direction to the rest of the country and the rest of the world.

Western Australia is in a unique position - our isolation is now our best defence. And now, we must use it to our advantage.
That’s why we have taken the unprecedented steps of introducing regional boundaries and brought in tough measures to restrict movement and social interaction.
But as the situation continues to evolve around the world and across Australia, we need to take further steps to protect our State.
We currently have restrictions in place for people coming into WA, and requiring 14 days of self-isolation - and those restrictions are working.

But it makes sense that we go further now, and close Western Australia's border.

Based on the medical advice, we will move to introduce a hard border closure effective from midnight, or 11.59pm, on Sunday night.
I want the message to be absolutely clear to any Western Australianicon over east who is thinking of coming back to WA. If you need to get home to WA – come home immediately.
If you are an eastern-stater, and thinking about visiting WA – forget about it.
While we are this State of Emergency, we need you to stay where you are.
The quicker we can get through this, the sooner we can get back to normal.

In effect, this decision will be turning Western Australia into its own island - our own country.
These are drastic steps, but also sensible and workable - and they will give us the best chance of combating the virus and minimising the spread throughout our community.
A number of specific exemptions will be implemented to ensure our State can continue to operate and function.

The exemptions are currently being finalised, but they will include people who perform work functions including:
    - Health services
    - Emergency service workers
    - Transport, freight and logistics
    - Specialists skills, not available in WA,
    - National or State security and governance, and
    - Courts and judicial services;

There will also be exemptions for FIFO workers and their families, however strict 14-day self-isolation measures will need to be followed, when they first enter the State.

Further exemptions will also apply on specific compassionate grounds.
We are living in extraordinary times.
It is like something we have all never experienced before.
But I am just so proud of the WA response.
The wider WA community have responded to this with true Western Australian spirit.
Everyone knows that we are in this together – and for that, I know, we will get through this.

If you had asked me a couple months ago that we would be closing the WA border, I would have laughed.
But, unfortunately, this is no laughing matter.

    This is serious.

    We are serious.

Well written. Now it just needs to be executed as well.
Not easy, but maybe feasible for you, as you're really more isolated than possible anywhere in Europe.

For us, here we are at the comical level.
Tuesday the State says that it must be clear that physical exercise in the open is prohibited, but it is allowed to go out of home within a distance of max. 200 metres and walk, or take out kids. One parent only.
Wednesday the regions cover the State with insults, telling the government that they are crazy and that they will completely prohibit anything like that.
Wednesday evening, Mr. Conte (our MP...sigh) goes on tv and says that children can't go out with one parent, as announced on Tuesday. But you can keep taking the dog out.
Now parents protest that dogs have a better treatment than kids.

All of this just to say that it takes 10 seconds for a mega mistake in communication to happen. And, after three weeks of prison-like life, people tend to take things a tad more seriously than before, and patience could be slightly fading...

We have wonderful medical staff, volunteers, police and carabinieri, armed forces... Everybody doing well above their duty.
    Then we have politicians...
There are many here, I could have target stands for months using them. They'd even be fairly safe, since I can shoot pretty straight, but maybe a cough every now and then...
"Next one please. I'd like someone from this party now. Yes, you madam, please take the target. High...higher...don't shake, arms straight. Ok..... BANG"

Seriously I feel for you Ovidio conflicting messages from those that should have a brain between their ears!
We had a few conflicting statements made on to do's and not to do's and in some ways contradicted each other which had us perplexed, but it is getting sorted, I am not trying to be a defeatist but I feel with forboding that this virus has not hit its straps yet in West Au sadly we have had regional lock down in our Kimberly region as a case of Covid-19 has been detected up there and threatens indigenous communities if its gets into them then it will decimate them literally.
There was a 30 y/o returned from Indonesia suspected of Cov-19 being tested when he spat on the nurse and is now being charged with assaulting a public officer look I have got not time for that type of person now the nurse a mother awaits what may come I think they were pretty sure he had it but were testing him anyway it should be straight away ripped out into an alley way and for you boy-oh! a cap between your looking gear.

Ovidio ~ I have a few books in my room I could share if you were my neighbor with about the same amount stored in sealed containers in my shed.

My wife is in charge of making appreciation bags for all the truck drivers that come to her store. Prepacked cookies, Granola bars, Wet sanitary wipes and a rotisserie chicken with a loaf of bread along with a flat of water.
Least we can do for those that keep the supply chain moving.

I tried to catch the name of the USS aircraft carrier out at sea with 4 reported cases of COVID-19 on board on the news last night. Think about that, amongst 4,000 sailors, and thats the smallest carrier they have.
    Anybody else see that? Worrying!!

USS Theodore Roosevelt and it has almost 5000 stationed on it of which over 100 have proven positive for the virus.
