One thing most people don’t understand about shooting, especially milsurps in my opinion, is that they are like a very special, personal therapy. I start, sometimes, visibly shaking (from my own perspective), and after one or two hours I’m as steady as a rock. Therapeutic. Cathartic. Just positive...
I hope you will recover well. My thoughts go to you and your friend’s family.

Defcon levels rising fast here. Not sure if it is just the usual idiots taking advantage over a bad thing or pent up anger for being cooped up for so long. Usual suspects, media creates a narrative, runs with it, upsets a lot of people who decide to protest and this brings out the animals that riot, pillage and burn and back to the media that defends them. All while ignoring that we still don't know exactly what happened to start the whole thing off. Riots have spread to even many of the smaller cities around here with violence toward the police escalating. I had plans to travel to Gettysburg today to just relax outside in the nice weather but I'm now reluctant to leave home. Not happy about it either.

What's laughable about this is they are protesting the same thing in London right now. If i didn't know better, I'd start thinking this might be some sort of conspiracy put forward by the one world order crowd.

Cretin is a wonderful epithet... also in Italian. Not used a lot, because many people don’t understand what it really means. They prefer rougher words.
But it is really sharp and mercilessly defining.

Yes. And this pandemic gave us a great opportunity to see by ourselves how quickly people who always talk about freedom, democracy, rights... accept being deprived of their rights, of their freedom and, ultimately give up democracy.
A good mouth rinse before they talk again would be appreciated. But won’t happen...
