Do we have any Hebrew readers with an interest in the early Israeli Army?

    G'Day Folks,

A bit of a shotgun approach here.

I'm trying to track down some accurate details of early Israeli Army weapon markings. I've been told several things and am not convinced the views are either accurate or correct.

If you do read Hebrew - we're halfway there. You might be able to assist with the identification of some markings I'm interested in learning about.

If you also happen to be a bit of a student in the Israeli Army in the early 1950's then you might just be able to set me straight on all counts immediately.

Anyway, if you are able to help, could you please PM me?

    Many thanks in advance.

I was in the IDF in the 1980s, but I'd be happy to try to help.
