    Enfield sniper?

Trying to figure this one out. Very little usable description and pictures don't show a lot. You would think for $4k they could do a better job.

Looks like a cobbled up rifle but curious about the scope mount as it looks similar to a TP variant. Any thoughts? It's built on a BSA action and it looks like someone stamped a TP on the wrist. Looks like it had an old serial number that was ground off and a new one applied.

If it was RCMP then it will be so marked. They didn't just grab guns, they marked them to prove ownership. Even after we got them back, they would have the markings.

The bases and rings for the TP were not made by Griffin & Howe. They were similar but not identical and made by SAL Long Branch. The whole thing is bogus and cobbled up from what I can see.

    "Some assembly required!"

“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.
