Ross Mk.III and Winchester A5

I was planning on removing the complete foresight block and leaving the barrel full length unless it impinged so much on the line of sight that shoot was very difficult. I was also going to start with the hand-guard removed and the fore-end left full length. I'm trying to resist doing anything that's irreversible, bar some drilled and tapped holes.
