    Butt plate

Hi all. New to this website, and new to the Bren. I have a buttstock that is missing the metal butt plate. It is definitely not a Mk I. It looks like it will take a flat plate, but only has 2 screw holes in the flat part of the butt stock. From what I have seen, the Mk II plate has a screw hole for the flat part, and a screw hole on the top of the stock. Thus, my butt will not take a Mk II plate.
If I understand things correctly, that means I need a Mk IV plate. Is that correct?
Any info anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Here are the pics of the butt in question... I think it looks like it's an L4 bren?

Its a normal MK3 Butt. And thats why most L4 also have them. Parts should be easy to find because huge amounts of MK3 Brens are on the European market and therefore the parts too.
