    Revolution 1917

Saw this about a month or so at Walmart and just now got around to watching it. The box looks great, the description sounds OK, maybe something both I and the wife would like.

It was not a terrible movie but it wasn't that great either. Supposed to be about the Russianicon Revolution, WWI, and a love story. I only got one good look at the rifles and they were using 91/30's.

Kind of colorful, acting typical Russian stuff, obviously dubbed. Ending kind of leaves you hanging.

most if not all movies found at walmart will leave you hanging in the wind just like the poorly made undergarments sold at walmart.

Walmart didn't make it, they are simply selling it. The vast majority of the movies they sell are well recognized blockbusters and new releases so not sure how that merits your take on them.

Hate to burst your bubble, but 95% of the movies that walmart sells in store, are such great BLOCKBUSTERS,,, that they were never in THEATRES.... simply went straight from cutting room floor directly to the 5$ dvd bin at walmart. Clearly a sign of a great successful movie...

Its also hard to claim a movie is a blockbuster when its ONLY IN THE MOVIE THEATRE for a single week. There are many actual movies on sale at walmart in the 5$ dvd bin, and on the regular overpriced shelves,, that were shown on fewer then 500 screens when they did get shown... still hard to make the claim its a major movie when it was only shown on 500 screens, and perhaps 20 times on each screen.....

You aren't bursting my bubble because you don't have a clue what you are talking about. I shop movies at Walmart on a weekly basis and have for years. The VAST majority are theater releases, and if it was a blockbuster, they sell it. About 10% went direct to video. This particular movie probably was in theaters in Russiaicon as it was produced their, for them. And again, Walmart doesn't make them so I have no idea why you are attacking Walmart for selling them. There are also of course the TV series and TV movies which I don't include in the movie releases but even those are well recognized for the most part with the exception of the Hallmark movies which remain popular nonetheless.

I want a movie, I go to Walmart, they don't have it, it's not likely anyone else does either.
