A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I think you just miss having a rifle platoon out on ops again...walking the field.

Jim, Thought it quite a nice piece as well as so many diverse weapons in use. Didn't realise they did in the 60's.

Yep, I watch those sort of vids regularly, even just go to some of them firing. Those are the sort of US issue I collected for years and of course all before back to the Kragicon. One or two shots of a shotgun in use, M14s everywhere and the .30 being employed by ARVN. .30 carbines in ARVN or scout use...a few medium weapons in support... Takes you back to the beginning because that's how they were dressed when I started, lots of those vets still serving when I started too.
    Regards, Jim
