    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Auction Catalog

    Mike, the link must be to the entire catalog, as it is over 26 mb. Someone on dial-up would time out before it could download.

    Johnny - I honestly don't know how to attach it any other way? The auction is Reddingauction.com and go to the March 29th sale and click on pictures and the rifle is Item # 119.

    Somebody smarter then me might be able to make it easier/quicker.

    Mike

    It is a M1903 Mk I rifle with two 'Air Service' magazines, one in the rifle and one in the original box.

    Chuck - I've got a sneaking suspicion that the 50 mile round trip will cost me:
    2Gal of Gas @ $1.92 = $3.84
    One Coffee @ = $ .55
    2 Chili Dogs with Kraut&Cheese = $5.00
    1 'Mountain Dew' Soda =$1.00
    Total = $10.39

    "Unless".... (nah!!) there is a bargain to be found.
