    The rifle is dated 1942 on the butt socket...
    As I said I have no info on it other that I have owned it for probably 35 plus years and there s no indication it was made up by a humper.
    It is way to well done for a home job.
    The only reference I have ever seen to it was one that was shown in relic condition that was apparently found in the vicinity of of Pegasus Bridge and was shown in the "What is it" column of Arms Review.
    The spigot launcher is a recent addition (last 25 yrs) as when I got it the barrel was merely threaded.
    Any info is appreciated.....
