    Inner Stock Markings

Can anyone advise what these markings mean? They are located near the muzzle end of the barrel channel in a "OI" Inland high-wood stock. Thank you!Attachment 106941

The "O" is for Overton, the maker of the stock. I have some with that stamp, but haven't seen the other markings. Wish Charlie or Frank would stop by the forum - they are my "go-to" stock guys! - Bob

Hi Bob & Singer, I believe those are inspector stamps as the stock went down the line. Maybe Charlie could way in. Stay safe & healthy!

    Best Regards.....Frank

Thanks. My Underwood doesn't have them and sometimes "X" has a negative meaning to it. I'm not sure what that "S" looking mark is.
