Anything legit special about this 1903a3?

Browsing 03a3 auctions and came accross this.. Am I wrong to think some of those stock stamps are bogus?

Why do people do things like that? I also noticed there is no picture of the star mark on the barrel. "Appear" and "believe"... two words to watch out for... AAAAARRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!

Obviously hoping the magic letters "USMC" will allow him to cash in!! Don't walk away, RUN from this auction!!

lol good, I thought I was crazy. The fist stamp to throw me off was the cross cannon on the total wrong side of stock, that also looks pretty freshly struck for 60+ years.. And wasnt gonna touch the USMC stamp lol. Just saw the price, saw the rifle and was like "hmmm". not looking to buy, just browsing is all

Looks like the work of Warren Donnell (not sure the last name is correct) who was active around the Texas gun shows several years back. He had a stamp for everything, and was noted for building "USMC" M1icon Rifle match rifles. The 03-A3 did not get the full treatment as far as stamps, as he really loaded up the M1 Rifles.
Someone figures they got a bargain, as the Buy Now price was $3000.

And here I kinda felt bad about posting my A3 build... Notice the sellers name: 'dancing fire'. No it's not me, but I'm sure someday this clown will be dancing on coals...
