Sight indexing on Mauser Spanish Short Rifle model 1916?

I bought a bunch of these and now need to install both front and rear sights? Who can tell me how to index them TDC before sodering them in place?
    TIA, Steve

Ideally you would have a jig set up which aligns the sights. Considering that you have a bunch to do it would be worth your while to make one. Otherwise it depends on what tooling you have available to you.

Agreed, you can use a solid thick steel flat stock and a couple of machined square brackets attached in the critical spots. Well worth doing up.

To do just one, i use a set of v blocks, and clamp a parralell bar to the flat under the recoil lug, and set a machinists level, on it.
Turn barrel till level, and tighten vblock clamp.
Now you can use a tdc tool to mark sight centers
