A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Had one of these find me several years ago. Had never seen one in the wild and have not seen one after. I consider it one of the better pieces in my small herd. You will love shooting it. Great fun.

    Nice looking rifle.

I recently purchased a No2 .22 myself, but I haven't picked it up yet from my FFL. All matching and the price I thought was good. Looks like 1915 Enfield No1 MkIII that became a No2 MkIV*?

From the same seller I also purchased a BSA ShtLe No1 MkIII* also matching. Really nice guy to deal with.

Would look better with the proper sling.

My 1918 SMLE .22 is one of our favourite rifles. it also has the flat sided cocking piece and a barrel that is one piece (unsleeved). It is in lovely condition for the age; the only odd thing is that it's not marked on the wrist as a No2MkIV*

Here's a photo of it being enjoyed by my daughter

So I came across this photo of a No. 2 modified with what appears to be an M1Aicon or M1 Garand rear sight! Sadly the individual who posted it didn't answer any of my questions about it. It's somewhere over in India.
