I have some acreage, so I decided to test fire the rifle before I take it to the range. I rigged up a way to fire it without holding it, using a string to pull the trigger while standing behind a tree. It fired perfectly, so I fired it a second time from the shoulder. It fired perfectly then also. I think it will be fine to take to the range.
