    THE P.38 PISTOL (Alex Krutzek)

I usually don't spend a lot on a book and this is an expensive one, $99. Ebay seller has it for $88 so a little better. Came brand new in original plastic wrap. But being bored out of my mind from stay at home orders and not spending much on other things, I splurged. This is an awesome book. Probably way over what I ever needed as I only have one but it goes into a massive amount of detail and goes down the line on variation after variation. Even has listings of known surviving examples. Mine of course wasn't in there as he's not going to have every one. Broke mine down pretty well however. Only question on mine is the grips. There is no mention of them being used on a late war Walther, they are noted as being used on late war Mausers Didn't exclude their use either and as everything else is there it's probably just an oversight. My holster is also listed. This is basically a pure data book. Some limited history is there but not much. Lots of photos and details on wartime ammo etc. Nothing on where the pistols went specifically or wartime use or service. Not something you sit down and read either. Great for answering questions or verifying correctness.
