    Oh, Canadaicon!

In the spirit of Mayday: Your Prime Mincer just hauled on his jackboots.

    This may not end well.

Well, without getting political...for those that may remember, in 1998 we started a long gun registry. Then for a few years we had a long gun registry...then we didn't have one any more. That was because we changed governments. My point is this just came today and we aren't done with it yet.

Things done in haste... Now this thread we may want to bump in ten years.
    Regards, Jim

Damn tooting this will not end well. The little prick may try to buy the hearts of immigrants and freeloaders.
He forgot we were the shock troops of the empire. Most of Western Canadaicon is against this twit.
If Alberta and Saskatchewan pull out of Confederation, good luck to the East.

So as a neophyte of Canadien law making, is this something that can be reversed with a change to a conservative government legislature? My son went to college at McGill so most of my Canadien experience is in Montreal, Quebec, which is a whole different world from the rest of Canadaicon.

If you wish to discuss the politics of firearms ownership or the practices and policies of various governments attempting to control them, then please use the appropriate venue described in the thread titled Where can I discuss politics and gun legislation issues? (click here).
