    RRAD marked TRW M14 receiver

First time I've seen such a marking on a M14icon rifle, so thought I'd share some pictures of a receiver of mine in here too. It is a TRW made M14 rifle with a 7 digit serial 1.3XX.XX6, for the picture I removed the middle digits digitally. I've been told that RRAD can be found on Garand receivers and that it means a rebuild/repair by Red River Army Depot in June 1974 (6-74).

Don't worry, gun laws in Europe are opposite from the ones in the US with in Europe the barrels and bolts being the "gun parts", so all legal with owning a receiver here. Have considered somewhen building a rifle myself based on this receiver, we'll see if I can source the missing parts.

Billy Pyle had a photo or two showing M14icon receivers with rebuild marks like in your photo. I had TRW 1313951 with a TRW 9-63 barrel for a sort time while in the army

I'd rather buy the parts locally, involves less paperwork and does not come from China. But thanks for the offer!
